Db drag and usaci guys use similar subs.
The whole 4 ohm rating thing is a complete joke though. Why bother rating an amp at 4 ohms when you know damn well nobody is going to run them at 4 ohms?

It's a completely archaic way of rating amps. Why usaci still does it when it's blatantly obvious that the amps are doing WAY more power than that is beyond any comprehension.

Db drag, especially in the lower classes, has a much more effective way of limiting power. Batteries and voltage. Sure, some guy could have 4 big amps in street c, but he's not going to get nearly the same amount of power as some of these usaci guys running 4 "600" watt amps that really do 6000 watts a piece.

batteries are limited in usaci smaller classes too. so actully you get more power out of db drag running 4 big amps and 1 bat then you will running a "600" watt amp in usaci. and voltage is also limited in usaci. have you read the rules for usaci.

usaci is just another org. it shouldnt be like dbdrag or meca. its usaci. they go by amp ratings thats just how it is.

looks like both lower classes in Usaci and DBdrag both have the same rules for batteries. Although looks like you have more batts in Usaci then dbdrag in some classes. In usaci in the stock classes looks like you can have the car running. Dbdrag you cant. Im sure some power is lost there.

true but with a good bat in dbdrag and more amps =more power:) but either way it takes a good box design and system planning will but you above the compitition

It really is just going to turn into a pissing match of those who do usaci like it and db drag like it. Who cares as long as it isnt MECA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

FTR I like the db drag format best, mainly because of the head to head competition. To me it brings more excitement knowing you have to give it your best and a rerun wont fix your mistake the handshake at the end of a run win or lose just seals the deal.

Only problem is no db drag in texas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Thats my findings....In Usaci 0 to 600 class you can have two batteries with car running( Didnt look to see any limits on subs O one amp too.... In dbdrag street A you are limited to 1 battery car off ( Two strapped mono amps though) Are limit to number of subs.

Soooooo
not in Street A my friend..

thats applicable in Street B //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Street A there are many restrictions

Crap. I looked at the wrong class for amps In dbdrag street A. Its only 1 amp in that class.

Street A Class - A maximum of 1 subwoofer amplifier may be used. A maximum TOTAL of 2 electrical conductors may be used to connect the amplifier to the woofer(s). (Please see the definitions section for more detail regarding conductors.)

So one amp for 0-600 class uscai one amp for street a dbdrag. But two batts and car on for usaci and One batt and car off for dbdrag.

Soooooo

Yeah I looked at the wrong one. That was for street stock class 1 whatever for dbdrag. You cant really compare that to a usaic class because Usaci street beat. Its everything is Unlimited amps batts subs.

eh either way. they are different orgs. and im sure someone with enough drive could be competitive on both orgs with the right tools. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So this statment in bold is kindof off then right. By the rules you have my batts in Usaci then Dbdrag and the amps are the same.Lets just say street A and 0-600 stock class. And in usaci you can have the vehicle running. If all things are equal looks like you can get more power in Usaci 0-600 class then Dbdrag street A class. Soo like lets say both have same amps Well mabye same subs. With that same amp would you get more power with 1 battery car off. Or two batteries car on. And we all know that its really not a aka 600 watt amp too.

My last comment on the thread. It really doesnt matter to me that much at all. Being we dont get much of either Orgs around my area any more.

can someone also clarify that in these clases in USAC such as 0-600 or whatever your measurement is in the KICK panel.. correct?

try bringing it up to the dash and lets see what the results will be.

anyways there is much more room to play with in this 0-600 class then there is in Street A if we are to compare the two.
