I have some Comcast digital cable boxes, that arent in use. I want to sell them, but how can I find out if they can still be used?

you cant, they are activated on your account, if you cancelled your account, then the boxes are disabled

i work for comcast, your supposed to return em, its illegal to sell em and they wont work for the person anyways, you can prob hack em somehow but i dont know

digital hasn't been hacked yet. I've been working on a cox box for a while now. Best way to cheat is satellite.

satellite is cake work. Google "dss" or "fta"

yes they are motorolas, i dont believe they run that software though

the 2nd newest model out for the dvr is motorola DCT6412, thats just an example, i dont have the newest model dvr number on me right now

why bother hacking digital cable? FTA is the only way to go......SO much support available everywhere.

FTA requires a satellite dish though.

However, if I new about FTA before I scrapped the one on my house, I would have done it.
