c2 audio threatcon 2 15 sub

I'm interested in these but I was wondering if there was any 15 I can compare it too. The price is right up my alley even though I might wait for the threatcon 4 to come out, I just don't want to buy a beefy boss sub.

How much power do these handle? If I put, a 2400 brx on them, will they handle it?

its been recommended to run a lot more power to the threatcon 4s than just the brx 2400

I asked chris about this while on lunch what we concluded was this:
If you want to run these in a 4th (which would be fine...and loud!) you would want to run at RMS if not a little over. He's rated these woofers very conservatively. If I were to run 2 Threatcon 4's I would at a minimum be running a quality 3k if not a 3.5k amp. If you don't want to swap out your amp but want to do a 2 12" 4th you could pick up 2 of the Threatcon 2 12's and run 800-1k to them. I've ran a clean 1k to my threatcon 2 12" and the threatcon 2 15" prototype daily and they take it no problem.

I'm running 1k daily unclipped on one 12 and it takes it no prob, 15 should be the same
