Dont get a Dodge diesel. 99% of Dodge diesel owners i have ever seen/met have been douchebags. If you want to be grouped with that then buy one.

I say go old reliable. Buy a 99-02 Ford with a 7.3 or a new Ford with the 6.7.

Just dont be a douche in one. They're good, dependable trucks. And if you're worried about gas mileage in town, they dont get to bad. But size, well thats a different story

A Dodge stock is actually the weakest of the ford/chevy/dodge line-up compared to the same years of the other 2.

The new 6.7 Ford are rated at 400+ HP/ and 800+ Ft.lbs from the factory.

My stepdads 6.0 makes 422/817 now with some simple bolt ons and head studs.

The Good things about Dodges are that they are cheaper to make power with and easier.

yea and blowing the black smoke at them is even funnier
If you are blowing black smoke, then its wasted power. If you think its fun to blow black smoke then you belong in a Dodge to get grouped with the douches. IF you want a truely powerful diesel then you dont want any black smoke. Black smoke occurs from unburnt fuel, which means you aren't getting enough air to match the fuel which is wasted economy and power that could be put to the ground.

You're second part being the reason. Everyone likes to mod their vehicles somewhat, and in a diesel it can get fun just because it is cheap to get some nice hp/trq gains

What are you talking about ?

I never said anything about people not modding their ish or anything. I simply said facts.
