The MB Quart is an all around better amp, its better built and completely different as well as under rated. I would get the MB Quart.

i just wonder why there so many haters then when it comes to maxxonics products because the mb quart amp looks like a great killer amp to me

most of that is directed at hifonics, crunch and autotek, not so much MBQ...back in the day, all those amps were better than they have been under maxxsonics

It's been covered several times. Even though they are both owned by maxxsonics, the boards and components are different, with the DSC2000.1D being better in every way.
i wonder if the dsc2001.d would be better than the lanzar opti2000d

Ok i am gonna go with the mb quart. So would i need an extra battery in the trunk or would i be fine with my stock 120a alternator and a new duralast battery and i also plan to run the amp at 2 ohms

just was wondering because my voltage never drops lower than 13.5 when running usally stays around the 14 volts range and are Deka Intimidator Batteries any good
