i want to run the subs at 2 ohms even tho the subs are claimed to be for 4 or 8 ohm impediance. i heard that running less resistance wont mess up the subwoofers.

well, they must be single 4's. A kicker 300.1 would put out about 350rms at 2ohms. Those can be found for about 100$ sometimes.

i would get the 500 watt amp its always better to have a little more on tap
