bxi2010d vs DSC2000.1D

i was wondering if the mb quart DSC2000.1D is a better choice amp to get than the hifonics bxi2010d. so was wondering what are your guys opinions on thes amps and which amp will do close to rated power

The MB Quart is an all around better amp, its better built and completely different as well as under rated. I would get the MB Quart.

You sure? Last time I checked they are all made by the same people. I wouldn't be surprised if they are pretty much identical.

It's been covered several times. Even though they are both owned by maxxsonics, the boards and components are different, with the DSC2000.1D being better in every way.

the dsc series is completely unique to the hifonics line.

Just because they are owned by the same company doesnt mean they are all the same, i believe All 4 Maxxsonics lines have noticeable differences compared to each other.

They should have rated that BXI 2010 as a 1500 watt amp

If its BXi, get the MBQ..if its the BRz, you should still get the MBQ, but the BRz can be considered as its now cea-compliant....and yes, someone clamped a 2000d dsc on here, and i believe it did 1700at 2ohm, they never did get back about a 1ohm load

1700 at 2 ohms sound pretty good to me when maxxsonics rates them 1000 watts at 2 ohms and the mb quart seems fairly priced
