BXi 2006D @ 1 Ohm?

anyone use one of these amps at 1 ohm for daily use. i'm interested in buyin a sub that is dual 2ohm, but that amp at 4 ohm isn't enough. i'm looking to see if it can handle that load without overheating and still sound clean. thanks.

Not sure about the new BXi2006s, but one of my teammates is running 4 of the newer 1606s at .7ohms daily. They get hot, but i don't think they have shut down on him once.

I second that. 1 ohm for the BXI2006D is no problem. I've been running mine at 1 ohm daily for about 8 months. I've ran it for up to 4 hours at a time and it doesn't get hot and has never shut off. I ran it for about 6 months pushing 2 12" L7s and it's been pushing a 15" MAG for the past 2 months. Before that, I ran a BX1000D at 1 ohm daily for right at a year with no problems. The guy I bought my BXI2006D off of was running some at .5 ohm for burps with no problems.
