I'm considering buying this system for my acura rsx 2004:

Does anyone know if its a good choice? If not...can someone please recommend something better? Also is it hard to install these on your own?

Just MY OPINION...and everyone will have many on this...

PERSONALLY..a good Choice but not the Best!!!

Pioneers are great speakers in my opinion but NOT FOR COMPONENTS....

You have many other options in that Price range....

I would venture to say those would not even make the top 10 list in a $150-$200 range..

Don't get me wrong..I Doubt you'll be dissappointed with those..but you asked if they are a "GOOD CHOICE "?????

This may sound MORONIC..but in my opinion any company that tries to sell products in EVERY category loses in some areas..In other words..Companies that only make speakers are usually the best..and companies that ONLY make AMPS are the BEST and PIONEER is a Head Unit company not component speakers..

Don't get me totally twisted on that..I mean I LOVE ARC AMPS and thier Subs rock..but when a company is "Famous" for a specific component they make but not another....I stick to that rule of thumb if in doubt!

Gotta admit SUPA C is right..he has a serious Drug Problem but speaks knowledge with the CDT's.......I know you are thinking

"I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS COMPANY CDT SO WHY ARE THEY GOOD?"

Well look at the system profiles of some of these guys on the forum and ask why a guy with a $5000 system has CDT's....

I am Getting them as we speak!!!!

But those Alpines look nice or "if" you can afford them my personal second choice are Image Dynamic Chameloeons but your kissing the $300 mark with those???
