Buying refurbs

Well, I want to buy some speakers. I can save some good money buying refurbished ones. It is a desktop 2.1 system by creative.

They are guarenteed to perform perfectly, but i'm worrying about cosmetics. It should be find because it has to pass a test.

What do you think?

Every refurb I have ever gotten has looked brand new.

IMo refurbished products are better because they tend to go through a more thorough quality inspection to make sure it has been fixed compared to a new assembly line product that's more expected to work properly.
