Buying New subs tommarrow and cant decide!! NEwb needs help bad!

Well heres my dilemma, I currently have 3 blowed 12" kicker cvr paid like 50 bucks a piece for them and bought a hifonics 2500d mono amp. Well i had them wired at 2.67 ohms and for the first 2 months they worked and sounded great banged hard. Two days ago the voice coils fried on 2 of them and i just fried the third one today which dont bother me i figured you get what you pay for and im pretty sure it was too much of a amp for the subs.I am looking to use my same hifonics 2500d amp but this time go at 1 ohm with 2 15's. Do you guys think this will give me alot more shakability? Seeing how ill have about 1250 watts to each sub i hope it does.So i am torn between the Alpine type r 15's and the power acoustic mofo 15's.the r15s are only rated for 700 rms watts a piece and im worried about blowing them too. Any advice would be great and if you guys know any good 15's for about 100-200 bucks a piece? any suggection would be great i like the type r 15's but not sure they can handle the amp thx a million!!!
