Buying JL on ebay??

Up until now I've been saying I was going to buy my system at an authorized retailer, but just looking at the shop and seeing the prices it's making me consider buying them off ebay. I'm going to buy two 12w6's and 1000/1 amp.. If I buy them at the store its goin to cost $2g's plus tax...if I buy them off ebay It'll cost be about $1200 including shipping...Thats $800 Id save that I could put towards my installation.... Plus I can still get a 1-year warranty from the ebay seller...but then again who knows how reliable that is....

One part of me is saying if your going to spend that much money on subs & an amp be safe and buy from the store so you'll know nothing will go wrong....BUT the other side of me is saying....YOU"LL SAVE $800!!!!....

Which should i do??

its really up to you, i personally have bought from ebay many times and had good luck. just check the feedback on the seller and make sure they arent selling refurbs if you dont wanna go that way either, and you should be good to go

Like said, just make sure they have a good feedback number and such... wouldn't hurt to search around the internet on their username and see if you can find anything people have said about them. I've bought a lot o' crap from Ebay and have never had a bad experience...

i bought both of my W6's off of Ebay. I even met the the guy (about 4 hours between us - met halfway) and made the exchange. Just look for good feedback.
