so none of the cobras sense the like early 90s one came blown?

so the ford lightning is the truck version of a cobra? was it the same motor, because some of the supercharger parts/intercooler parts are interchangeable with my system

As for your questions, the 2003 cobra was the first to come with a supercharger. And no the lightning came with a SOHC 5.4L (330ci) engine, the cobra came with a DOHC 4.6L (281ci) engine.

Lol at some of the post..... After doing some research on the svt forums the factory says it comes stock with 240 hp but everyone thats had dyno runs said they pull 275hp out of the 95 cobra. And to jpec...lol @ a 240.... And talkin about every hillbilly has a mustang.... They would only be lucky enough if they could have that lovely looking girlfriend of yours in the passenger seat. Shed prolly **** a dick for a new piercing.

I was answering the guy's question on the 2nd gen trucks '99+ which came with a low C/R 5.4L SOHC (330ci) 16 valve engine. But yeah the 1st gen trucks '93-'95 came with the older pushrod 5.8L OHV (351ci) 16 valve engine.

Actually...

The '03/'04 Cobra is a very capable platform for some insane performance. The engine is capable of supporting over 1000RWHP with a complete 100% long-block (from the valve covers down). Show me another mass production engine that could do that...day end day out.
