The IDQ's take 500RMS and the IDMaxes can take up to 1000 RMS, but from my experience Image Dynamics subs are very efficient and get loud off little power and sound great.
I have to admit that was pretty funny and I'm sure it wasn't supposed to be. I was waiting for the sign to fall on him. So keeping this is amp ideal this for my situation? I looked at the 12w6v2 but now am not sure. So many choices. So for $500 is there a true tested combination that is ideal?
u done fuked up boy u should have came on here and read up a little bit
but from my experience all the bmw audi and merc kids get their panties all wet when they see jl audio
get two 10's with that amp and I think you will be happy. good luck and happy listening //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
yup, agreed. a bit more cone area to possibly make up for the lack of power, if you want to call it that. My DEI400 & two sealed 12W4d4's back in '99 did me perfect, without needing an overage of batteries and other unnecessaries.
The reason I went with a 12 is so I can try and conserve trunk space. Will this amp produce brain rattling bass with one 12? I was thinking one 12 and a nice amp for around $500 is all I need.
