buy one cd get X amount of cd's

like columbia house? or bmg?

i did that when i was >18 i got like 100 cd's probably between the two of them and i skipped out on the bills after i got what i wanted, because i was >18...doubt they would ever let me sign up again...

they **** though because they just send you CD's and they want you to pay $24 or something for them...

dam, are they still around?

lol i got limewire but i was thinking about dropping down to am street maybe and you gotta have real cd's !!! lol and i have only one real cd and only half of it plays!!

BMG bought columbia house. Buy 1 get 11 free is there deal, no more to buy, but gotta say no every month or they send you another CD. Seems if you keep returning them to sender, they eventually stop though.

I have had a membership to BMG for several years, now. I haven't bought one of their CD's for at least 2 years, because their selection is kinda limited. Unless you like Top 40 crap, then you'll be in heaven.

That said, they do have good deals come out for their members a few times a year, though, such as Buy One Get 3 Free. you can average something like $6.50 per CD after shipping with those kinds of deals.

If you are really considering getting in on BMG or Columbia House, go through their starte catalogue and only pick CD's you *actually* want. If you can't find CD's you actually want, don't join.

BTW, those DVD clubs ****, no matter what: expensive and never have any good deals.
