Buy a db-Measurer?

Ok, i risk sounding like an idiot...cuz i have no idea what im talkin bout...

Anyway, is the thing that measures db for sound systems like a hand held device with a meter .....and if it is, how much will it cost to buy one? or go to horizon audio or any audio shop and have it metered.

Dont buy a term unless you are going to be competing

IMO, the price isnt just worth it if you are curious as to what you are hitting.

Then, it is a lifesaver.

No. I was just saying that even thought it may not give a true DB reading, it should show that one setup is louder than another, like the original poster wanted to do.

Buy the kid a ******** term lab if it bothers you so much.

Christ a couple DB's of accuracy and people start shitting their pants, the kid just wants somthing to screw around with in parking lot on the weekend, and this thing was designed to do just that.
