1. Is 3/8 aluminum flat bar thick enough to be used as a bussbar

2. Does anybody got pics of flat bar installs

3. Would using spacers/washers be a problem using it on my 3/8 hole on my kinetik so it will be high enough so i can get some bolts in the holes to put terminals on

I can also get any size aluminum that people want, and its cheaper then copper.oh and brass too if needed.I dont mean to thread jack but i thought it was relevent to the topic.

3/8" Thick is plenty.

Im not really sure what you mean by #3... Kinda confusing the way you put it. Anyways, heres a pic of my old bussbars. Went across 7 HC2400s then the 3 others just got short strands of wire to them.

Im just making bussbars for my underhood battery so i was wondering if washers were ok to use as long as the bolts are tight. I just need to busbar to be raised slightly so i can add bolts/ring terminals to it. Something like this.

For your current draw is should be fine. My fuseholder for 16 agu's is made of 2 1/4" aluminum buss bars stacked and it works fine. You just have to remember that more aluminum will be needed than copper since it's not as good of a conductor.
