My schedule has been crazy, but I am determined to have some form of false floor soon. Even if it's just a temporary fix until summer quiets back down.

Partially. I don't want to hide all of the red nor the gold badge. The XO3 and wiring will be concealed, the battery top will be visible, and the Sony will be partially visible to allow viewing pleasure. Having it recessed will allow for large things, such as my hockey equipment, to be on top without harm to either.
