Bumping with engine off

General info- I have an 05 Escape with an Alpine MRP-M500 powering a Type R 12. Planning on getting a MRP-F300 for 4 Infinity Reference 6x8s. JVC H.U.

Sometimes I just sit in my car and listen to music. About how long would doing so with the sub pumping 250ish watts drain the battery? I just wanna know whether I should idle the engine, or leave the car off to save gas, if I'm gonna be listening for 2+ hours.

250 watts u should be good for a longgg time. i used to bump 2k watts bout 1/3 tilt for a half hour before my batt died. ur good.

ive worked on my car for over 2 hours with it playing and had my batt die...other than that no, you shouldnt sit for 2 hours or thats just sad.
