I've found it MUCH easier to attach the front to the bottom, then work counter-clockwise from there, then slap on the top.

Looks good for your first try. 2nd one will be easier and so on...

nice box for your first one. about how much did all that equipment run you? i'm planning on building my own, but im not sure if it's really worth it to buy all the equipment.

glue was five dollars, wood clamps were 13 dollars each at home depot, although they probably have them cheaper at harbor freight. the little triangle and the jigsaw were my dads.

Looks nice, you should measure for each cut instead of actually drawing a cut sheet on the wood, unless you compensated for the thickness of the blade and cut perfectly...

yeah i tried to account for the thickness of the blade, and they all came out right except two pieces, but we caught it before we cut it because we were double checking each cut before we made it.
