How do I run the speaker wires through the box without breaking the seal? What components are needed and where can I find them?

speaker terminals.. or if you port it, just run 'em right through the port itself lol.

just get a 2" hole saw and poke some holes

You can also use bolts.

That's Bolt, nut, washer, wire, washer, mdf, washer, wire, washer, nut. Sounds complicated, it's not, and it works, airtight. The first nut can be removed if you don't plan on unhooking the speakers a lot.

O.K.-

I ordered a terminal. Where should it be mounted in the box- directly behind the driver or off to one side? Does it matter? Also, the current dimensions have the depth at 8.54", and the speaker mount depth is 5 1/8"- is this enough clearance between the back wall and the magnet?

doesnt matter, just make sure u put some caulking around it after u put it in or u'll get air leaks.

i personallly drill a really small hole and shove the wire through. then seal up with caulkant
