I wanted to build a fiberglass box but you cant build a ported fiberglass box because of the fact the volume isnt always what you expect it to be right? or am I wrong? in my trunk I have up to 40 wide between the two wheel wells and the sky is the limit in height or depth. I havent decsided how many hertz it should fire at I want it to sound good at a lower level and have a high Spl when I want it.

How do I ake a port plug? what should I shoot for how big of a port would I have to build to get 44 Hz and then use a port plug to get it down to 32 HZ for DD. sound like a good idea or am I way off track>?

According to PG I need

Vb .75 Vd 3" Vl 13.5" Vented per sub before sub displacement for SPL

Mounting Depth is 5 3/4 Speaker displacement is 0.1

Thats a small box or at least it seems like it that means All i need is 1.52 cubic feet

Maybe I should Go for the 15's instead?

I think I am going to Stick with Mdf just for simplicity on Pg's page they say to use 1 inch mdf should i be using 1 inch mdf? because 3/4 is pretty **** strong

How big of a port do i want do i just multiply the size by the number of subs?
