Budget amp for two type s 10's?

Looking for a budget amp for twp type s 10s, they are the dual 2 ohm. Now I could either keep them or switch to the dual 4s if o can get more power out of the same amp. Was thinking something like an audiopipe or whatever is the current flavor of cheap amps.

What model Type S are they? Older Type S's had less power handling than the current model.

how much u wanta spend? xtr 1000 does well over 1200rms.. sound qubed 1200 is on sale for $219 not greatest amp in the world but does rated power

If you use D2's you need an amp that does at least 1k at 2 ohms, if you switch to D4's then you want an amp that does at least 1k at 1 ohm.

if u can switch them to d4 do it, trust me running at 2 ohm can get a pain., u have to pay for more power than u are using.. my ppi p1k does over 900 @ 2ohm over 1100 @ 1ohm.. guy has ia 10.1 1200 fs in classifieds here for $185 no bass knob though..

Kicker KXM does 1200w at 2 ohms and is 198 shipped on amazon.

^^^^^^Honestly you won't find a better deal than that for rated power at 2 ohms^^^^^^

Plus it's marine certified so it's built to withstand a more harsh environment than a typical car audio amp
