I plan on getting speakers for my wifes truck (as a surprise for her). She drives a 01 Ford Ranger. Speakers would be powered off the HU (Pioneer DEH-6400BT, 22watts rms x 4). We talked about upgrading already, she doesn't want anything top of the line, just something that sounds better. What are some good budget speakers? I'm looking at around $100 to $150. Kicker? Rockford? Kenwood? I'll probably order them from Sonicelectronix. Thanks for the help

Off the deck... I would HIGHLY recommend Boston's SE line. Fantastic coax's.

If you're looking for coaxial speaker, check the Hybrid Audio Mirus 5x7 speakers. This is based on HAT Imagine line. Very good speakers. As for components, I would have preferred a round speaker such as Pioneer D-series on this budget. A lot of them come with 6x8 mounting bracket.
