Hmm. What kind/brand of foam?
I want....Going to sell the truck in about a month
Thanks. I'll definitely do it. On top of that will be deadner so hopefully I'll be good. (hopefully)Great Stuff foam. Comes in a spray can. $5 per can or there abouts. Can find it at Home Depot, Wal Mart etc..
I was actually curious about a good expandable foam. Do you recommend this for all applications? Mainly an IB-sort of set-up. I wanted to fill the space between the outer shell and inner shell on my car in the rear quarter panel. Also, how many cans do you think I should buy for something like that? Two cans per side is enough?Great Stuff foam. Comes in a spray can. $5 per can or there abouts. Can find it at Home Depot, Wal Mart etc..
Eh, don't worry about time. You aren't a shop, and no one's paying you to be quick. I always take forever when I'm working on my car, or a friend's car. When you go quick, you make stupid *** mistakes. Like, forgetting to put in a bolt, or running a wire wrong. This guy was hurrying me as I was installing an EQ, and I ran the wire from the unit itself, to the face plate (which was to be installed at the front of the car) backwards. I had to re-do it all, and it probably took me longer doing that than it would've just to go at my own pace.Heard you there. I still can't believe it took me as long as it did to do all of this.
It's cool. Keep in mind I cut most every single piece of that wood by myself. Put it together mostly by myself. Everything except for the box is brand new. There are many things that are unnoticed like how I had to take a dremel and sand down the inside of each of the bolt holes for the 2x4s that connect were the seat used to be.I was actually curious about a good expandable foam. Sorry to Thread jack, Buck. Didn't really want to make a new thread for a quick question.

But, I do have to admit, that's a long time to take out a seat. It took my brother and I (granted it was two people) about 4 hours to take apart every panel form his truck, cut speaker baffles, mount said baffles, run wires under the carpet, mount fuse block, and put everything back together. He has an '03 F-150 single cab. I want to make it incredibly loud, because he likes that. (I don't, but I like doing high-powered installs.) But, he's broke. =|
