Buck needs alt help

I have a 300 amp Excessive Amperage alt with an external voltage regulator. This alt puts out really good power, but for some reason my headlights pulsate (all lights, even interior). I've had the external voltage regulator replaced and it still does it. The regulator is wired up with 8 gauge and a 30 amp relay that turns on with ignition. Do you have any suggestions? What causes this? I just cannot pinpoint wtf the problem is besides the alt being messed up or off a little. Doesn't matter what voltage I'm charging, it does it.

There's only a 15 amp rated draw on my regulator, how could that be? I mean 8 gauge should be plenty. And I did send him a message on caco. I guess I can try it.

I hear man. But he says it's a problem that these external regs have He also said the 4 gauge wire usually fixes it

Can you ask him about brackets and a 4.6L exploder? I'm prepared to move batteries and air box and whatever is necessary.

You wont be sorry just be patient Well worth the wait and he cust service is great! I got mine a month or two ago and went on without a hitch and i dont have any more problems with lights dimming.

My voltage drop is worse than just lights dimming, it actually shuts off my head unit and my amp goes into protect. At night I can't even turn up my stereo or I can't see from my lights almost turning off..lol
