So, work on my little brothers car we finally got his install to look presentable for a IS300.

1- BTL 15" SAZ-1500D

2- Sundown Strapped

2- Optima Yellow Tops

2- Runs of 1/0

1- Pioneer PRS-D2100T

1- Pioneer 880 Headunit

Battery and amp are hidden under the floor in the trunk.

Decent... It is a BTL so the SQ isn't the best. But it did a 143 (i think) legal before we got a new battery and upgraded the wire. Also, the BTL had one bad tinsel so I'm sure it is louder now that all of that has been fixed...

Seems Fi and Sundown is always matched together...

It is a good combo, those Sundowns are solid amps and go along nicely with the Fi...

Someday... Right now he is powering the stock speakers with that pioneer amp. Its sounds pretty **** good thanks to the EQ in the 880.

But eventually we are going to upgrade the door speakers and such...

Well, he is building a plexi cover for the amps. He doesn't drive that car because there is salt on the roads, so getting the plexi covers done wasn't a big rush...

I want a 15 in my Acura's trunk but I'm hesitant because I'll be upfiring if I do. How far off the lid is it, and how do you feel it sounds as opposed to rear firing?
