BTL or Nightshade

I've used both. The NightShades get louder off less power (2kwatts or less). The BTLs handle more power better (3kwatts or more). Basically for 2kwatts or less each go with the NightShades. For 3kwatts or more each go with the BTLs. For 2k-3kwatts flip a coin.
i was only going to go with about 2k (2k on each sub)for whatever i get. so flippin a coin is prob the best thing to do haha. as i can tell you like the nightshades better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I do love the NightShades. I've had much better succes getting them louder than BTLs. With 2kwatts each I'd definately go with the NightShades.

why is that?
the reason why, about 4 yrs ago i use to have a kove audio armageddon 15 u2 sub and the nightshades reminds me of them, but i did some research between the dd 9500 series, sd nightshades , fi audio btls, ia dps and dc sound lvl 5 and i choose the dd 9500 series overall, but i didn't do my research i would probably chose the sd nightshades cuz my experience of the kove audio armageddon u2 sub

Go with the saz-3500d. It's a bit under-rated and will provide plenty of power for a pair of NightShades. The saz-2000s won't be out for a few more months where the saz-3500s should be here in about one month. If you haven't seen yet, the saz-3500d is at a sweet pre-sale price. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25410
