Kicker calls for their CompVR at 400 RMS in sealed boxes and 300RMS in ported boxes. Im looking at buidling a ported box for them and have a Hifonics amp thats 1000RMS at 1 ohm. They are both 4ohm subs wired down to 1 ohm in a small sealed box. Would that be to much power to them if they went into a ported box, with all the correct settings on the amp. Any thoughts?
