well i have 2001 silverado reg and i was wondering if i could fit a 12" btl behind my seat in an ported angled box without sacrificing tooo much legroom i wanted a design something like this but im just gonna get the stock btl with cooling no 3rd magnet or anything like that

im just not trying to get squished b.w my seat and my dash i read that they have a 6.5 mounting depth so idk

It can be done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

but you wont have leg room. Remember you have to compensate for the woofer's movement. Your solution to that would be to put the sub on the passengerside. But then again, Your truck is louder with Ports on the passenger side, Sub on the drivers side.

man what do u think about the 10" btl i want something that is mostly spl and some sq but im not trying to be squished then again im not a big kid im 16 and im 5'10

Get 2 SSD 10's

You would probably be happier. You would be giving them optimal power, whereas you would be on the low side for the BTL. Plus You would have some more mounting options...they could get mounted "lower" in the box, that way your seat could lean more.

Just to let you know, I'm not just rambling, I have a Fully Loaded BTL in an 04 Silverado Reg Cab.

I dont have much leg room, If leg room is a concern, the BTL is out.

Im pretty sure the SSDs would do the job for you. You could go for the BTL if you wanted but I think you would be sacraficing more leg room than you wanted to...even with you only getting the 2 slug BTL, its only ~1 inch shallower and thats not going to make that big of a difference.
