glad everything is taken care of...i've yet to have a problem with tinsel slap

we free aired the 18 for about a hour at 20hz with 500 watts or so...full stroke..

it was slapping the spider, but it was very minimal

Yeah...Shawn helped me out last night. I eMailed scott this morning, So im waiting on his response. But in the daylight its easy to see that the leads are about .5 inches to long. I can fix the noise by holding the leads and keep them from hitting the spider. I'm kinda bummed out though, because I really wanted to see what this sub could do next weekend when I go back to Jntars house and use Dougs 20.1s, but now it looks like I will have to wait...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I will do it for him if Scott will still warrant the woofer...

We will have to recone a few DDs next weekend so it not like we wont be doing it anyways...

But its like Chevy said, its not his woofer if scott says he will replace it. Just throwing out the offer.

New woofer on the way...Scott is a great guy, and so is Shawn for helping me out. The leads were different sizes.

So now Im getting a brand new Fi BTL Dual 1 (not D2 like the old one)

the one with the wrong tinsels is getting crated up today.
