RL-p to Fi BTL or Q?

Do you think swithing from my 12" RL-p is worth it? What is the difference between the Q and BTL?

If you want to go balls-out with volume and power handling, go with a BTL...

If you want to have good output with very good musical potential, go with a Q...

rlp will yield a flatter overall response...

Q will outperform it under 45hz

if you're looking for more low end output... I'd go the Q route..

the Q is known for better low end than rl-p? might be selling the rlp for less pretty sub....

from the test session... Q ran away with the low end over the RL-P...

the Rl-p is optimized for flatter response...

the Q is optimized for low end wang...

my rl-p is in 2 cube, tuned @ 28 hz. what enclosure for a Q would be better low end?

they'd do fine sealed... once we get time, we'll sealed test the q and ssd..

ported is such a better option.. more output, while still doing a fine job in reproducing material..

we tested the Q in a good design for the session... I can't recall it... but the info in it its results...

I think it was 2.2 tuned to 30hz

2.2 tuned to 31-33 couldnt remember exactly.. thats internal volume before port and sub displacemetn

the q and rlp were tested in the same design... so there it is..

300 watts more to the rlp isn't gonna catch it up to what the q did...
