Hey guys -- Just bought a refurbed BRUTUS BX2200D from
sonicelectronix and I'm trying to hook it up. Unplugged my old amp and plugged this one in and with only + and - and remote hooked up it goes straight into protection mode. 2g runs about 3 feet to a fused distro block and then grounds through 00g. Really was trying to get my boat upgraded and spent a lot for expedited shipping to try and get stuff ready for the long weekend.... Feeling SUPER frustrated right now. Any dumb things that could be wrong? I don't see any external fuses on this amp?!
Seeing 13.2v when I put a meter on the + and - and remote wire is running through a relay being fed with 10gauge. The only good news? My OLD OLD OLD Kicker DX350 is actually pushing these 2x12" Type Rs @ 1ohm and they still pound pretty well.... Wish the bigger amp was working!!
