Unless those can handle significantly more than 500 rms, go with a 1208 instead

or just set your gains properly with a dmm and you can have plenty of headroom

No it will not work well send me the subs now, Just kidding. I would look into something different but thats just because I have bad experiences with Hifonics new amps...

there two ohm coils so you need the 1606.... your stuck running them at 2 ohm or .5ohm so you cant use the 1206

Not sure what they cost new, got them in a trade brand new. I've seen them for $400 I beleive EDIT - maybe $200 each, not sure if its $400 or $200 each.

ok man let me help you out then, i ran into this same prob when i traded out for two l7 kicker 12's, i make a new box because there in a 2 cube box, pull them out and it says 2ohm coils. what this mean is your stuck running them series parallel so that your impedence is at 2ohm's(because your going across 4 coils at 2ohm your stuck running at a 4ohm 2ohm or a .5 ohm load) so you need a bad *** amp or a cheap over raited amp. iv hurd people say they ran there hifonics at .6 before but i dont beleve it, i fryed my 1606 on those two l7 running it at 2ohm(altho the l7 has a much higher rms and max output on your subs). i think that the 1606 is perfict for you tho man it will allow you to put 1200rms watts to your subs, leaving a small amount of room for ineffiency(not much really) all in all you will at the least get 900 rms watts out of it and be pushing those subs to **** near there max. have fun man this is a bad habbit to get into, unless youhave tons of exstra money.
