anyone have anymore info on these i just recently got one and it says 2ohm stable bridged but could it do 1ohm with out blowing up ???

class T amp

150X2 at 4ohm

300X2 at 2ohm

600X2 at 1ohm

1200X1 at 2ohm

if they are the same board and heatsink why are they rated differently

I knew a guy that had them a while ago. Really liked them, but I think he was a Class-T fan so his preference might have been biased. Crystal is a solid choice in general as they have always done good products. Outside of Tri-path going away, not sure why class-T's fell off the map. Jacob, if you are still in this topic maybe you could shed some light on that?

the amps may be rated differently due to differnt specs used. 4 ohms at .002% THD vs 4 ohms @ 1%THD, that kind of thing.

so will the crystal give me the same amount of power as the avionixx at 4ohm bridged ??
