Broken femur...

Well, one of my co-workers rides MX and a friend of his had a bad fall a few days ago.

Broke his femur and smashed his helmet.

I have no medical training but I can confirm -- that shit is broken.

Thats what I did to my arm... Both bones snapped, and slid over the other bones... I know arm doesn't really compare to a femur.. lol.. But yeah.. It was pretty ****ing sick looking..

The worst part about breaking a bone is when they inject you with novocaine or w/e it is.. Scary *** ****, and hurts like a *****...

That's like the strongest bone in your body. And he broke it. He might not ever be right. Hopefully he is. I ruptured my patella tendon and i'm still not right.

You're never right after you break something... My wrist still kinks like a *****, and is uncomfortable after heavy lifting... It's been 2 years...

But yeah.. How the hell did he manage breaking the biggest bone in your body?

I broke my femur almost just like that. Busted the bone right in half.

i still got the titanium rods in both my legs where i broke my femurs. Racing mx/sx can be painful. I should really be about 6'6 but due to the injuries I can only manage 6'4 on a good day. thats the price you pay

They had to do something to mine also so i wouldnt stand lopsided.
