Bridging channels

How does bridging channels on a amp work? I know that you take the negative and positive wire and connect them across two channels, but do I need to do anything with the RCA cables?

So the RCA's stay connected to the front output of the amp? I don't have to run another RCA cable to connect to the rear output on the amp?

Not if you get signal to the rear outputs with just the fronts hooked up, many amps do. There's usualy a switch for input.

I don't know if my amp does or not. there are three sets of RCA inputs, Front, rear, Summed. Its a Infinity 7541
