Bridging amp to two subs

I have a 2 channel sony xplod and two kicker comp SVC 4ohm subs. If I bridge my amp to both subs will it still be 4 ohms?

No. If you wire them in parallel you will have a 2ohm load. Wired in series you would have an 8ohm load.

in my experience sony's dont take two well to being bridge though......the old one i had would be hot to the touch after 15min or so....

this is the correct answer....you can not bridge to 2ohm on a sony
