bridged amps???????

what does it mean to bridge an amp(s)... does it involve two amps... my friend told me you only had to have one 4 channel and it could be bridged.. any explaning about amps would help out alot.. and please start from the ground 0 because i know almost absolutly nothing about car audio...

Theres really two different ways.

1. Is called strapping. It takes two monoblock amps be linked together.

2. Takes a 2/4 channel and putt a positive of one channel and the negative or another channel, to get more power at a certain ohm.

ok but when i do the second one do i just use regular speaker wire or do i need something special... remember.. noob here

just use normal speaker EVER, its called speaker wire for a reason.
