i generally play my subs at low power for about a day before i toss their RMS at them. not saying you have too, but thats just what i do.

Same here. Thses new S2W8's I have coming will be broke in with RMS 600 per for about a month. Then I plan on turning up to about 800 per. I have read from others that they will handle 1k per. We will see //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

most well built subs can handle 500-1000 watts over RMS. That is dependent on your box size. And the thermal limit of your sub

its fully loaded so idk if that would make the rms any higher or not.... nvr rele looked to see haha.

that's a helluva sub to buy blindly.... at least you didn't get duped into spending that much on crap.

I wasn't meaning to insult or anything. just saying that you got your self a really good sub, apparently, without even knowing how good. I can't imagine buying something that cost that much without knowing everything about it prior to purchase.

well i had always wanted the ufo model btl or the AA mayhem. ended up getting this cuz everyone said they got really close to the mayhem on less power.... so here we are haha had heard theyll take a little over 2000 but was wondering exactly how much over 2000......???

and i wasnt insulted haha i know what ya ment.
