Break In period for 2 12 l7's

I'm not saying I beleive in the whole break in period thing. But why do some of the owners manuals say to break them in? It was on my Type X's or my L7's I forget which but it did recommend it in the manual. Are they being paranoid that the consumer may throw 2000w to it immediatly and crank the bass all the way up? I dunno, just curious. Later.......

i know that i've heard people say to not turn them up all the way because there is glue that needs to be heated up from playing the subs, then upnce its heated and cooled ur good to go.

I've heard not to turn it all the way up just so that they subs get warm then let them sit till they cool.

dont have to break them in just install it and start slammin, eventually the sub parts, spider, surround etc... will loosen up depending on subs, some take longer than others;)
