Its not that plastic knuckles dont hurt as much its the weight that they have.

More mass hitting just as hard will cause that much more pain/damage ( brass knuckles)

I just don't see it...if you want something for personal protection, a gun or small knife is much better/convienent.

Force = Mass x Acceleration

I don't think they have an equation for pain. Force x place of impact?

Uhm.. you didn't figure mass into that and yes if something has 0 acceleration/speed it won't hurt
