I'm not completely green about cars, automobile electrical, and general intelligence.
I'm a state licensed electrical contractor with about 30 years in the trade, 16 yrs as a union journeyman commercial/ industrial wiring, with experience in concert lighting, and lighting and electrical for film and television.
I started in electrical by working in a garage that specialized in automotive electrical and air conditioning. We did repairs, rewires 6v to 12v on old cars, we built emergency vehicles for police, ambulances, security installing lightbars, spotlights, sirens, air horns, and rewired burn jobs etc... so my knowledge is pretty well rounded.
Unfortunately my car electrical and audio knowledge is very outdated. Basics are still good but I need help with some of the more modern components.
That's why I'm here. I need to get some answers and information and suggestions.
Just so you know, I own an '06 Dodge Magnum R/T Hemi wagon, and an '08 Cadillac Escalade ESV awd 6.2 l Platinum package SUV
The Cadillac is what I'm trying to get some help with.
