brakes

yeah, get a buddy. one pumps the brakes and holds it down. the other cracks the valve until the pedal hits the floor. hold pedal down, close valve. repeat. go to other side. repeat

 
DO NOT allow the master cylinder to run dry during this process!
if it does, there are problems other than pad/shoes/calipers.

ok so i tried to bleed my brakes but i realized that my lines were leaking fluid. right where the line bolts onto the caliper on both sides is where its leaking. what the heck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

 
maybe you cross threaded the lines when screwing them into the calipers. in that case, guess what? u need new calipers again! it doesn't take that much torque to make a brake line seal tightly. if you are cranking on it and it's still leaking, you're screwed.

edit: and it will leak without the copper washers

 
Its not like I jumped onto the wrench to get it THAT tight or anything. Just a fair amount of pressure. Im just a skinny white guy, i dont have that much power in me lol. Id take the car into the shop but last time i went was for an oil change and they forgot to add oil.....
