Just picked up this bike recently for pretty cheap. It's carb'ed, and actually has something called an "automatic choke" I believe. When I open it up to start and it warms up, it closes by itself. The problem is that when it closes up and if I give it a lot of throttle and pull the clutch in to slow down, the RPM's drop dramatically and it dies. I don't think its the idle control knob as I've already adjusted that to spec (~1,300 RPM). Any ideas on what's killing it?

Hmmmm....ok thanks I posted it over there. Now I play the waiting game. I think you may be right though. I don't recall that being done to it before I got it.
