It is not true that bass is tighter on smaller diameter drivers. It is ALL about the design.

Most of my people have come back saying they wished they had gotten the 15", it sounds as good as the 12, with lower low end for the little kid in them...

Now as you are going with 4... and I'm sure you want a minimal of amplifiers... The orion XTR pro2400 comes to mind... you'd need two of them, one for each pair of 15" drivers. Should give you about 1200Wrms for each driver.

My question is, why in the WORLD would you need 4? I'd suggest you buy two first, and if you still feel you want more, expand from there. Save yourself a little money, just in case you don't need all that ka-boom.

Not quite as good, as it's been told to me. I've never bothered listening to one yet, but it comes from sources I trust that it wasn't on par with the brahma...

if he was runnin 15" bramhas and you wanted louder, then he did the worst install he could have. i bet you could get 2 15" brahmas, install them right, port em, and shame that other setup.

oh, i would still suggest only going 2 right now, cause you can spend your money in more productive places.

1) Sound Deanening - you gonna need a bunch for the brahmas

2) Battery(s)

3) Wiring/dist blocks/etc

4) Most important, a new alternator

i have the money to doo all that, im not taking money from other places, they were brahmas 15's ported 3/4 mdf box with jbl's on em (not sure how he set em up) loud as hell, i dont wanna build a **** 1 inch mdf box and then have to rebuild it to house 4 but ill go with 2 for right now i guess, what size box 4 cf?, ported at 28hz?

so just plan ahead, that way you dont have to rebuild. you can either

1) build two identical boxes that stack next to or on top of each other to look like one.

2) build a 4 subs box, and just hide the other two holes somehow.

if you really want the 4 15" then go for it, we just dont want you to waste your money. you can always add, but once your money is spent it is gone.
