Maybe he didn't recognize the Brahma logo, and saw they weren't square, have a big RF on them, or have any chrome flames, so he assumed they were junk and moved on.

Sit in your room with a rifle and leave your trunk open, camp out all night and wait for him to come by. That's what I'd do, leave a sub in the open, when somebody thinks it's too good to pass up, pop them in the legs then go bash them with a bat.

I feel for u man. I have two Brahma 15"s, luckily still intact. but I know what it is like to have a cracked cone. Ask supa_c about the incident he caused with one of my JBL 10"s.

Not put to death. But I do think some other countries have a great way to take care of theft. The one's that cut the hands off thieves don't have theft problems. Apparently a week or two in jail (if that) isn't enough a deterant for theft. Go figure. I really think there should be MUCH stricter punnishments for instances where theft of property or damamge occurs where the cost is over $100.

Is it covered under insurance? I sure hope so. I do feel your pain. I pulled my system out of my car after getting hit twice. It's not going back in until it is much more secure (head unit in multiple pieces, etc.).
