brahma glue issue

today i noticed a slight clicking noise coming from my brahma. i uninstalled the driver and found that the spider has become partly detached from the basket. this is definitely an easy fix, however i'm not sure if it will void the warranty. i already contacted adire and am currently waiting for a response. if the warranty will not be void, what would be a good glue to use? i really don't want to go through the warranty process since it will take a good amount of time and cost a lot more.

I know what you mean, its not really on there.

CA glue (super glue) will do the trick.

I guess the simple response to that is; Do you understand what a spider is??

no i am so sorry to say that the only spider that i sure know of is one that has 8 legs. BUT i think that it is the wavy cloth in the woofer right???

Yup, it is the wavy cloth looking thing behind the cone, towards the bottom of the basket and right above the magnet. Usually yellow, but sometimes different colors (like black). It runs parallel to the magnet (side to side if the woofer is sitting on the floor) and attaches to the backside of the cone (well, VC former actually) and to the basket.

Sometimes that will become disconnected from the basket, and it needs to be reattached.

NICE PIC.. my Magnum D2 Spider Landing has came unglued a few times... Epoxy Glue, would hold it for about a month or so...reGlueing the landing DID void my warranty, but im like you.. its such an easy cheap fix, i could fix it now, or wait about 2 months and spend around 50$..

i'm so tempted to fix it right now but haven't heard from adire yet. i'm pretty sure it will void the warranty but it doesn't hurt to ask. luckly i caught in time before the entire spider detached. i would say about a 1/4 of the spider has been detached.
