Hmm last I checked there was a shortage of steel and prices are indeed higer than normal. This summer set an all time high for the price of steel. Its true its not really harder to get ahold of, but its certainly more expensive than normal.

Aye, you're right, they have been going up fairly steadily the past year. But there's never a shortage. It's just as easy to get now, just costs more.
