just to let ya know man. you could have just cut 2 or 3 MDF rings, and glued them all together and screwed them into the baffle, then used a really thin stretchy material (fleece is way too thick for a 'beauty panel' ) like speaker grille cloth.

paint resin, maybe a layer or two of bondo... and your done. you dont really need to fiberglass anything unless its a 'strength' part of the box. if that made any sense...

i tried it with just resin in, and it felt way to brittle. but i agree fleece was way to thick.

what he means is that if you stacked the baffles to get the depth you wanted the support wouldnt rely on the glass, all the weight would still be on the wood.

whatever, i think it all worked out well for m. i also wanted to try some fiberglassing for the first time, i never attempted it prior to this.

yep, thats all. just lettin ya know if you get away with only making the front a 'beauty panel' you can get away with it no problems.

I think it's gonna turn out awesome. I need to give a shot at fiberglassing some time. I'm sure your g/f will be very happy.

i wasn't worried before. it'll be getting 450 watts, or atleast its supposed to (profile amp).
